How to pull off hoodies when you got a big butt, or atleast seems big in comparison to your waist. Really sticks out.
It’s not only hoodies, it’s just that I was trying to wear a hoodie today when I realized this. Whenever I wear anything that sticks to my butt, both pants and any upperwear, in this case hoodies, I get a very conspicuous ‘U’ shaped curve if you see me from my side profile, as a result of this unfortunate body type. It makes me not want to wear hoodies, even though I love them, and I force myself to avoid all kinds of somewhat tight clothing. I’m not even fat, but because of my butt that sticks out so much, you wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference between an actual fat person and me when I wear a hoodie. It may be hard to comprehend what I’m saying right now if you don’t face this problem, but for the tiny minority that do, how do you deal with it? I feel like fashion as a whole is difficult for people with this issue.

Slim Jacket for layering in the winter?
The majority of my F/W wardrobe revolves around grey hoodies with slim black chinos and slim indigo jeans I was wondering if there were any jackets that would look good combined with those. I have just started to develop my style and the Ben Sherman Harrington jacket is intriguing but I do not know if it would be fit for layering in the winter.

Headwear
To start off, I liked hoodies but I am forty years old and I do not think hoodies are appropriate. I am mostly working from home but still. So the problem is: I have sensitive ears and covering them is the primary goal. Most headwear except the hood is either very warm (winter beanie) or doesn’t cover ears. Any good ideas?Edit: I am in Vancouver, 50-60F / 10-15C is our target.

As a struggling Canadian student looking for a decent sub $100 fall boot, what does MFA think?
I’ve been looking for a decent boot for the fall as all I have are my winter boots for those cold Northern days and my various shoes for up until fall time. As a broke student I’ve been trying to find a boot for under $100 in my area and stumbled upon this, I was wondering what MFA’s thoughts are on these, or if anyone has any ideas. They also have a variety of others if anyone suggests other ones.

I’ve been so impressed by some of the before/after pictures of guys who have started paying attention to their style. I’d love to see more!
